白無垢 Shiromuku

武家社会の流れを汲む婚礼のための正礼装。打掛から掛下（打掛の下に着る着物）、帯や小物に至るまで白で揃えたもの。汚れのない白は花嫁の無垢な純真さを表し「嫁ぎ先の色に染まる」という意味がある。角隠しか綿帽子をつけて神前挙式に着るのが一般的。

Shiromuku, the formal wedding kimono of Samurai-class since the Edo period. Everything including inner wears is pure white, also the accessories. "White" has been regarded as a symbol of pureness, cleanness and virginity. “White” can be dyed with any color, so shiromuku means that brides are ready to be dyed with color of groom. “White” also regarded as a sacred color, so people believe shiromuku to be suitable for the wedding ceremony held at sacred and religous places.

The Renter is the sole person responsible for any damage caused to the kimono during
the Rental Period. Upon return, the kimono is inspected for any damages and/or food
and beverage stains. If such are found, the Renter will be responsible for cleaning costs 
and other damages.
